Part-time Certified Tutor

This part-time tutor position is responsible for providing academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers. The tutor will work with small groups of students and individuals, as necessary, and reinforce all knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher.

What You Will Do

The tutor will generate tutoring plans, assess and document student progress, develop and assist students with academic exercises and class activities, and compile and prepare materials for instruction and other learning activities.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with Bachelor's degree
• Valid Tennessee professional teacher's license
