Part-time Chaplain

Asbury is seeking a part-time chaplain to provide pastoral care to residents and their families. The chaplain will prepare crisis intervention, order of worship, and assist residents in end-of-life services. A Master of Divinity degree or equivalent is required, with ordination in a mainline Protestant body preferred.

What You Will Do

The chaplain will provide pastoral care, prepare crisis intervention, and respond to referrals from administration and support services. They will also prepare order of worship and assist residents in end-of-life services.

Requirements

• Master of Divinity degree or equivalent
• Ordination in a mainline Protestant body (UMC, UCC, Presbyterian U.S.A., ELCA, Episcopal Church, American Baptist)
• One unit of ACPE-accredited clinical pastoral education
• Three years experience in hospital or eldercare chaplaincy
