This is a part-time position with a schedule of under 20 hours per week. Hours may be flexible and vary based on business needs and candidate availability. What You Will Do

Use of general civil engineering concepts in support of engineering projects related to tunnels, sewage systems, bridges, and concrete structures. Assist senior engineers in collection and analysis of data for development of project drawings and specifications. Monitor construction operations, including concrete structure rehabilitation, earthwork, dewatering, and excavation support installations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related degree, from a 4-year accredited college or university.
  • EIT preferred.
  • Internship/Co-op experience preferred.
  • Accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills, ability to manage multiple assignments at any given time, and have ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites as well as offices in Michigan.
