Job Description
Part-time daytime firearm sales associate responsible for actively seeking out customers, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with firearm purchases. Requires strong knowledge of the firearm industry and ability to exercise good judgement when interacting with customers.

Requirements

  • Ensure all paperwork for firearm sales is completed accurately and thoroughly
  • Consistently demonstrate proper firearm safety and handling
  • Greet all customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile
  • Grow personal sales by hitting minimum goals and following Scheels professional salesmanship standards
  • Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Must be willing to help with freight/stocking when needed
  • Ability to demonstrate product usage within their shop and retrieve product from heights of greater than 6 ft.
