Part-Time Dispatch Officer

The Dispatch Officer is an Essential Employee who performs a variety of duties to enforce various parking ordinances, coordinating and dispatching officers to enforce parking regulations, assisting with public inquiries, and ensuring efficient operations.

What You Will Do

The Dispatch Officer will operate a radio at the control point of a radio communication system, receive and relay radio messages, transmit and receive communications essential to official activities, and utilize a ticket management system with an understanding of parking practices.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior experience in customer service, community relations, or law enforcement preferred
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of Federal Communication Commission rules, regulations and policies preferred
