Role OverviewWe are seeking part-time seasonal groundskeepers to assist with maintaining the golf course in impeccable condition during the peak golf season. The groundskeepers will work under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. The position is classified as hourly, non-exempt.
What You Will Do
Daily and weekly maintenance of sand bunkers, fairways, tees, and other golf course surfaces, including weeding, raking, mowing, and applying products to maintain turf quality. Other duties include setting up the golf course for daily play, removing debris, and adhering to safety aspects and precautions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The position requires dependability, punctuality, and reliable personal transportation. The successful candidate will have the ability to work up to 6 days per week during the golfing season, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks and lifting 50lbs +
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for duration of shift
- Dependability and punctuality, along with reliable personal transportation
