Role OverviewPlanate Management Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Capture Manager to support capture initiatives across Japan. The successful candidate will assist in identifying and pursuing business opportunities, preparing capture materials, and coordinating with regional teams.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include leading all capture functions, developing and maintaining capture plans, forming and leading cross-functional capture teams, gathering and analyzing customer and market intelligence, and building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of project management and/or business capture experience, demonstrated leadership experience in developing and executing capture activities, and familiarity with U.S. Government contracting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Japanese language proficiency are also preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field
- MBA or PMP certification preferred but not required
- Minimum of five years of project management and/or business capture experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in developing, organizing, and executing capture activities
- Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Japanese language proficiency preferred
- Prior U.S. military retiree or current U.S. military dependent required
