Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Part-Time Medical Biller to support a small group therapy practice in Chicago, Illinois. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end medical billing process.
What You Will Do
Manage the full medical billing cycle for a behavioral health/group therapy practice, verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, and prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Strong U.S. medical billing experience
- Experience billing for behavioral health, mental health, therapy, or similar healthcare practices
- Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end medical billing process
- Experience with insurance verification, claims submission, denials, appeals, payment posting, ERAs, and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare insurance and billing processes
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage billing tasks with minimal supervision
