Role OverviewThe Monitor is responsible for monitoring student activities, such as lunches, recesses, parking duty, and “Early Bird” and “Late Bird” school programs. The role requires overseeing students' behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after school. The Monitor must exercise sound judgement in carrying out duties and respond to emergency situations with urgency.
What You Will Do
Monitor students to ensure safety, report any unruly behavior to school management, inform supervisor of any damages to school property, and respond to emergency situations. The Monitor will also supervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured times.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in a school or child care environment and possess a high school diploma or higher. The Monitor must be able to exercise sound judgement and respond to emergency situations with urgency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience in a school or child care environment preferred
