Role OverviewThe part-time music teacher will be responsible for instructing, progressing, and disciplining students in assigned classes. The teacher will plan and prepare lessons, establish positive learning expectations, and evaluate student progress. The teacher will also participate in programs to improve student attendance, promote anti-vandalism programs, and maintain accurate attendance records.

Requirements
- Successful completion of all student teaching requirements
- All coursework required to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
- Valid teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS))
