Role OverviewThe part-time Nurse Practitioner will conduct compensation and disability exams for military members, wounded warriors, and veterans. The Practitioner will review medical history documentation, conduct one-time examinations, and capture responses using a web-based platform.
What You Will Do
Conduct one-time, non-treatment examinations related to a Veteran's disability claim, review medical history, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within a web-based system.

Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited university in a Nurse Practitioner program
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in any healthcare setting
- Current, unrestricted state license in the state where practicing
- Highly organized, self-directed professional with the ability to work in a high-volume environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and strong technical aptitude
- Computer proficient; EMR experience preferred but not required
- Previous VA or compensation examination experience preferred but not required
