Role Overview

We're seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in Oregon City, Oregon. This on-site opportunity serves students from K through 12th grade and is ideal for an OT who enjoys collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students build the skills they need for success in the classroom.

What You Will Do

Deliver occupational therapy services that support students' educational participation and functional independence. Complete evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and recommend appropriate services. Develop, implement, and monitor therapy goals as part of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.

We're looking for candidates who have experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting, and knowledge of sensory integration principles and developmental/sensory-motor assessment techniques. The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality is essential.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Oklahoma
  • NBCOT certification
  • Department of Education certification or school-based credential, when required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
  • Knowledge of sensory integration principles and developmental/sensory-motor assessment techniques
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Comfort using technology for documentation and service delivery
  • Successful fingerprint and background clearance
