You will lead guest-facing programs for leisure guests and social and corporate groups, delivering a quality experience for all.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include leading outdoor adventure programs, facilitating activities such as hiking, water activities, and climbing, and providing a quality experience for guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and related maintenance records and logs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in facilitation and/or guiding outdoor adventure programs
• 1 – 2+ years guiding experience hiking
• 1 – 5+ years of experience in facilitation of High and Low Ropes Elements
• First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date
• ACCT Facilitator Level I or II certification or willingness to complete provided training
• Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder certification or willingness to complete provided training
• Lifeguard certification or willingness to complete provided lifeguard training and pass lifeguard test required for role
• Trained or willing to be trained at facilitating stand up paddleboard and kayaking
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
