Part-time Parking Attendant

The Carpenter Hotel is seeking a friendly and dependable Parking Attendant to manage the 52-space parking lot and create a welcoming arrival experience for guests. The role requires standing, walking, and working outside in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate has good communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a thorough understanding of Bunkhouse policies.

What You Will Do

Monitor and manage parking lot availability, assist guests, and ensure parking flows smoothly between overnight hotel guests and restaurant visitors. The Parking Attendant will also communicate in real-time with Front Desk, deliver exceptional customer service, and represent the hotel in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with Front Desk staff
• Comfortable using mobile devices and communication tools provided by the hotel
• Ability to make quick decisions and stay organized during busy periods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 40 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the property as needed
