Job Description
The Part-Time Patient Care Technician III is responsible for ensuring patients have an exceptional experience at Envision Imaging of North Arlington. This role assists technologists with patient transitions and engages with patients on exam expectations and wait times.

Requirements

  • Performs detailed clinical screening of patients for technologist review
  • Assists patients with securing valuables and changing into proper attire for the examination
  • Initiates IV for contrast studies and provides medical attention for contrast reactions under the guidance of the radiologist
  • Prepares room and non-sterile trays as needed to assist technologists/radiologist
  • Ensures safety procedures are followed at all times in all security zones of the Center
  • Supports technologists in preparing patients for the exam and escorting them to the lobby or suitable waiting area
