Role OverviewThe Permitting/Wetland Specialist will work primarily remotely but will need to be located within a commutable distance to Minnesota for field work as needed. The role involves permitting, wetland delineations, and function assessment investigations.
What You Will Do
Assist with permit applications, perform wetland delineations, analyze data, and prepare technical reports. Manage project budgets, coordinate with agencies, and communicate with clients.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent
- Five (5)+ years of related experience in environmental consulting and wetland delineations
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and regulations, project management, Geographical Information System (GIS) software and Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment
- Proficient understanding of principles in geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, and regulatory compliance
- Certified Minnesota Wetland Delineator preferred
- Business development experience preferred
- GIS ArcView or AutoCAD experience
- Experience with environmental regulatory compliance in various states
