Role Overview

The Residential Coordinator is responsible for managing the facility, providing service to participants, and assisting residents with maintaining their stay in the program. This is a 24-hour shelter program serving 25 unaccompanied senior women and three unaccompanied veterans. The Residential Coordinator will have expertise in mental health services and may develop specialty areas such as housing, employment, legal services, or benefits.

What You Will Do

Job duties include supporting and coordinating the Residential Case Manager, maintaining the safety and wellbeing of residents, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, providing life skill classes, maintaining client files and program data entry/maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have good organizational and planning skills, work well as part of a team, and be willing to obtain certifications such as first aid, automated external defibrillator, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services
  • One-year direct human service experience
  • Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team
  • Complete program credentialing process, to include criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire
  • Willing to obtain first aid, automated external defibrillator, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications
