Part-Time Restaurant Server

As a part-time restaurant server at Kimpton, you will provide guests with quality customer service, demonstrate excellent knowledge of all menu items, and create ridiculously personal experiences. You will be an advocate for the restaurant, develop relationships with guests, and ensure that they have an enjoyable and memorable experience.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include providing support and assistance to your team, greeting and welcoming guests, receiving and taking guest orders, processing orders in the POS system, preparing and serving meal accompaniments, and performing various tasks such as setting and bussing tables, taking to-go orders, and answering phones.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant POS system
• Ability to calculate the accurate bill amount and use proper credit card and money handling skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences
