Job Description
As a Famous Footwear Sales Associate, you will provide excellent customer service, maintain a welcoming store environment, and be a shoe expert to help customers find the perfect fit. You will also be responsible for daily store tasks, such as pricing and inventory management, and be a team player to achieve sales goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within store
  • Ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
  • Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed
  • Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques;
  • Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting;
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
