Job Description
Part-time cashiers and stockers are needed to provide friendly and efficient checkout service and keep shelves stocked and organized. Duties include performing tasks with or without reasonable accommodation, modeling customer service principles, and maintaining store zones standards and merchandising standards. Cashiers will utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately scan and process customer purchases, while stockers will stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.

Requirements

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Operate all store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, cardboard baler, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
  • Interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Follow instructions and pay attention to detail
  • Work both independently and with others
  • Organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
  • Maintain reliable and prompt attendance
