Job Description
ALDI is looking for part-time cashiers and stockers to provide friendly, efficient checkout service and help keep shelves stocked and organized. Responsibilities include maintaining store zones standards, adhering to inventory procedures, and performing general cleaning tasks. Cashier responsibilities include properly utilizing the point-of-sale system and adhering to cash policies and procedures. Stocker responsibilities include stocking shelves and displays neatly while following merchandising planograms.
Requirements
Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
Ability to operate all store equipment
Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Ability to perform basic arithmetic
Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and with others
Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks to maximize productivity within established timeframes
Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
Ability to meet availability requirements
