Role OverviewThe Wayne, PA office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a seasoned Partner-level Insurance Coverage Attorney specializing in first-party commercial property to join our thriving practice. The incoming partner will step into an established, high-volume practice, and a portable book of business is not required. Lewis Brisbois is a recognized leader in the area of insurance coverage and claims, and our Insurance Coverage Practice focuses on interpreting contracts and representing insurers in complex coverage claims.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include leading and managing first-party commercial property coverage matters on a national scale, analyzing high-value commercial property losses, overseeing complex arson and fraud investigations, conducting Examinations Under Oath, and driving strategic coverage litigation from inception through trial.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of dedicated insurance coverage experience, with a heavy emphasis on first-party commercial property, and a proven track record in coverage litigation, conducting EUOs, managing investigations, and trial preparation or first-chair trial experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of dedicated insurance coverage experience
- Active license in good standing in Pennsylvania
- Multi-state admissions are a plus
- Current Partner or Senior Counsel with clear partner-level capabilities
- Seasoned judgment and the ability to independently command a complex caseload
