Parts Specialist - Floater

Requirements

• Courteously and quickly greet all walk-in and call-in customers
• Assist customers in a consultative manner to provide the best parts solution for their needs
• Gain proficiency in parts knowledge and continue growing as new products are introduced
• Employ superior listening skills and assess customers' needs
• Inform customers of additional related parts
• Follow up quickly with customers on back ordered items and communicate any changes in delivery dates or availability
• Create purchases orders prior to placing orders with vendors for all non-Cat back orders
• Initiate outbound sales calls to customers as directed by parts supervision
• Handle and process cash, check, and credit card transactions in compliance with company policy and procedures
• Be available to work overtime on short notice and provide after hours support when required
• Review will-call area weekly, contacting customers on items not picked up and returning items to inventory, as needed
