Role OverviewThe Parts Specialist will work behind the counter in the parts department, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, and working closely with vendors and customers to provide parts in a timely manner.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include providing shipping and receiving department support, creating and maintaining standard operating procedures, researching websites and vendor databases for parts pricing, and assisting customers with exchanges, returns, and warranty claims.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in working with parts sales and delivery, excellent customer relations and communications skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous parts experience (looking up and sourcing parts)
- 2+ years' experience working in parts department for heavy-duty diesel and/or construction equipment shop preferred
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Customer facing experience
- Basic reading and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
