Job Description
Join our team as a Pastry Cook in a new Modern American Steakhouse in New York. Prepare a variety of baked goods and sweets, and maintain quality and consistency of all dessert menu items.

Requirements

  • Follow all prep lists created by Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef
  • Measure all ingredients properly and strictly follow all recipes
  • Handle all food items and follow DOH guidelines for potentially hazard food items
  • Keep station and all knives, cutting boards, and workstations sanitized
  • Rotate all prep stock and properly label and date all products
  • Organize and clean walk-ins
  • Accurately handle all orders from the POS system in a timely manner
  • Communicate all product needs to Chef team
  • Report damaged or defective equipment to management
  • Complete all required Jolt checklists
  • Maintain relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training
