Job Description
Join our team as a Pastry Cook in a new Modern American Steakhouse in New York. Prepare a variety of baked goods and sweets, and maintain quality and consistency of all dessert menu items.
Requirements
Follow all prep lists created by Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef
Measure all ingredients properly and strictly follow all recipes
Handle all food items and follow DOH guidelines for potentially hazard food items
Keep station and all knives, cutting boards, and workstations sanitized
Rotate all prep stock and properly label and date all products
Organize and clean walk-ins
Accurately handle all orders from the POS system in a timely manner
Communicate all product needs to Chef team
Report damaged or defective equipment to management
Complete all required Jolt checklists
Maintain relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training
