Role OverviewThe Pastry Line Cook will work with the seasons of middle Tennessee to create unique, product-driven delights. They will work in concert with the Executive Pastry Chef and the team to represent the culinary department with honor and professionalism. The Pastry team will oversee operations in the Inn, events center, Jammery, and all other venues on property.
What You Will Do
Prepare all foods according to standard recipes, monitor proper storage of products and portion control, ensure clean and sanitary operations, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry, conversational Spanish is preferred, and an intimate knowledge of patisserie, boulangerie, and viennoiserie.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in the industry
- Conversational Spanish is preferred
- Opening experience is preferred
- Must have an intimate and working knowledge of patisserie, boulangerie, and viennoiserie, as well as cake making/decoration, and chocolate making
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language
- Culinary degree preferred
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs
- Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays
- Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed
