Job Description
Amgen is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to provide logistical, non-medical educational assistance to patients and caregivers. The PAL will work with patients, physicians, and site of care staff to educate on next steps required to gain access to therapy. Strong knowledge of access and reimbursement for buy and bill/infused pharmaceutical products is required.

Requirements

  • Secure written or electronic patient HIPAA
  • Develop relationships with patients and caregivers
  • Assess individual needs of the patient and develop an appropriate education and resource plan
  • Educate the patient on TEPEZZA coverage based on their benefits and the steps needed to gain prior authorization
  • Investigate access challenges pre and post-infusion
