Role OverviewThe Patient Access Representative - Emergency Department | PRN will be responsible for greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner, collecting updated demographic information, and accurately coding information on all patients. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to discuss medical issues and negotiate with patients.
What You Will Do
The representative will complete patient estimates using EPIC RTE, obtain all signatures, and provide a copy of the important Medicare notice to all Medicare patients. They will also notify the insurance representative for insurance verification of coverage and benefits on appropriate accounts.
