Job Description
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for accurately registering patients in EMR, validating patient information, verifying insurance coverage, collecting required payments, and ensuring a best-in-class patient experience.

Requirements

  • Customer Service: courteously advise patients of collection and billing procedures, welcome and greet patients, answer questions and concerns, inform patients of their rights and Advance Directives.
  • Patient Flow: schedule and reschedule patient appointments, complete clerical duties, accurately file patient charts/files, and process patient referrals.
  • Payor Regulations: research claim edits and denials, resolve discrepancies, key charges and process batches daily, and verify patient payments.
