Role Overview

As a Patient Access Representative, you'll play a key part in creating a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience for every patient. You'll help ensure that registration, insurance, scheduling, and billing information is accurate so patients can focus on their care, not paperwork.

What You Will Do

Welcome patients, answer calls, respond to questions, help schedule appointments, enter and update patient demographic, insurance, and financial information, communicate with providers, and collect patient payments.

Requirements

  • High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
  • 1+ years Customer Service (Required)
  • Exceptional communication skills with both patients and medical care providers
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities and handle interruptions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills for scheduling conflicts, missing documentation, and other issues
  • Attention to detail to ensure all patient information is accurate and available
  • Compassion to help patients and caregivers in difficult situations
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
