The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, working with patients to ensure accuracy of demographic and insurance information, and helping to streamline patient processing to improve satisfaction and keep appointments on schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Equivalent / GED
  • 1+ years Customer Service experience
  • Associate's Degree or progress towards degree (Preferred)
  • Medical Terminology (Preferred)
  • 2+ years Customer Service or Customer Service in healthcare (Preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Compassion and understanding of confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of electronic health records and medical terminology
