Role Overview

The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the entire scope of the registration process for patients seen at St. Luke's University Health Network. This includes correctly identifying patients, transcribing orders, completing registration screens, and verifying insurances. The role requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as general computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include correctly identifying/validating patients, maintaining electronic medical records, and communicating with SLPG practices and revenue cycle departments. The role also involves greeting/directing patients and visitors, answering internal and external calls, and promoting patient self-service capabilities.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
