Job Description
BAART Programs is seeking a Patient Access Representative to perform administrative tasks with a strong focus on patient billing and verification. The role involves managing insurance information, processing payments, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate patient records. The position requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years’ prior experience in a medical office setting.
  • 2-4 years’ experience with Medicaid and PAC and commercial insurance.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional public presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures, documentation, and records maintenance.
  • Proficient in basic PC skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
  • Good understanding of medical billing procedures.
  • Must have a satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse population and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
