Role OverviewThe Patient Access Representative is responsible for the entire scope of the registration process for patients seen at St. Luke's University Health Network. This includes correctly identifying patients, transcribing orders, completing registration screens, and verifying insurances. The role requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as general computer experience and ability to type fluently, accurately, and quickly.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include correctly identifying/validating patients, maintaining knowledge of network policy on Patient Identification, and performing patient registration tasks such as demographics, emergency contact, and insurance verification. The role also involves cross-training in all areas of location or region, greeting/directing patients and visitors, and promoting the use of MyChart patient portal.

Requirements
