Role OverviewThe Patient Access Services EMT Specialist will use EMT knowledge and training to conduct screenings, communicate acuity with clinical staff, and perform registration functions. They will also handle administrative support functions, collaborate with nursing staff, and ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual mandates.
What You Will Do
Performs registration functions, conducts patient interviews, gathers and confirms patient demographic details, insurance data, and financial obligations. Communicates observations to medical staff, documents health information, and explains required forms to patients.
