Role OverviewThe Patient Access Specialist Sr will be part of the Inova Float Pool – Western Region, working in various locations, including Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, Inova Alexandria Hospital, Inova Springfield, and Inova Oakville. The role will be full-time, Monday-Friday, with rotations every other weekend. The team member will be responsible for patient intake, registration, and documentation, as well as administrative and technology operations.
What You Will Do
The Patient Access Specialist Sr will audit records and documentation for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and support escalations. They will also compile reports, troubleshoot system issues, and support peers. Additionally, they will conduct financial reviews, mentor staff, and educate peers on insurance contract nuances.
