Role OverviewThe Patient Account Registrar interviews patients or their representatives to obtain patient demographics, secures insurance information, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. Works closely with the Admitting department, including PBX operator function and reception areas.
What You Will Do
Main responsibilities include operating a computer to input and retrieve data, communicating with patients of various ages, and maintaining proficiency in medical terminology.

- Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative
