Role OverviewThe Patient Account Registrar will interview patients and their representatives to obtain demographics, secure insurance information, and work closely with the Admitting department. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to communicate with diverse populations. The Patient Account Registrar will also perform special projects and assignments as needed.

The main responsibilities of this role include interviewing patients, securing insurance information, and working with the Admitting department. The Patient Account Registrar must also be able to operate a computer to input and retrieve data.
