Role OverviewThe Patient Advocate is responsible for managing patient appointments, ensuring a seamless check-in process, assisting patients with financial and resource navigation, and maintaining accurate financial and administrative records. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while promoting teamwork and meeting performance objectives.
What You Will Do
Schedule patient appointments, confirm and reschedule appointments, manage cancellations, greet patients warmly, verify patient demographics, collect co-pays and outstanding balances, obtain and scan patient identification and insurance information, and maintain updated patient information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Requirements
- Associate’s degree or healthcare-related certification
- 1 year of progressive work experience in a medical setting
- Proficient in Windows based computer program
- Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and communication skills
