Role OverviewThe PCA Apprentice Program is designed to help entry-level candidates transition into professional healthcare roles. As a PCA Apprentice, you will start working immediately in a supportive role alongside experienced nursing staff and participate in basic patient care, cleaning, and clerical tasks.
What You Will Do
Assist with routine patient care activities under supervision, help maintain a clean, organized, and safe unit environment, support nurses with clerical and receptionist duties, and engage respectfully with patients, families, and clinical staff.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Passing score (80% or higher) on the medical terminology exam
- Achievement of a score of 3 or higher on the criteria-based performance evaluation
