Role Overview

The Patient Care Assistant will assist the clinical team in morning monitoring duties to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively. This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast.

What You Will Do

Chaperone physicians in exam rooms, document scanner findings, unpack and restock supplies, turnover rooms between patients, assist with exam/procedure room maintenance, and prepare paperwork required for monitoring appointments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Good customer service orientation
  • Organized and able to manage a demanding workload
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software
  • Prior experience in a medical office environment with knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
  • Prior experience in Epic (preferred)
  • Prior experience in an Ob/Gyn office setting (preferred)
