Role OverviewThe Patient Care Assistant will assist the clinical team in morning monitoring duties to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively. This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast.
What You Will Do
Chaperone physicians in exam rooms, document scanner findings, unpack and restock supplies, turnover rooms between patients, and assist with exam/procedure room maintenance.

Candidate must demonstrate good customer service orientation, be organized, and able to manage a demanding workload. Prior experience in a medical office environment with knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Good customer service orientation
- Organized and able to manage a demanding workload
- Ability to participate as a member of a team
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software
- Prior experience in a medical office environment with knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
