Role OverviewThe Patient Care Associate provides enhanced support for patients at risk of falls by assisting with mobility, toileting, and proactive engagement. This role is designed to strengthen fall prevention efforts and improve patient safety through trained, hands-on support.
What You Will Do
Monitor patients and intervene safely when they attempt to get out of bed or chairs without assistance. Assist patients with toileting needs, ensuring timely response and safe transfers. Reinforce fall prevention strategies, including the use of 5Ps, K Cards, and “No Pass” protocols.
