Role OverviewThe Hearing Care Coordinator works closely with clinical staff to ensure patients receive quality care and service. They partner with Hearing Care Professionals to provide support to referring physicians and patients.
What You Will Do
Schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, assist with support needs, greet patients, place outbound calls, collect patient intake forms, and process repairs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong relationship building skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook are also necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in a health care environment
- Previous customer service experience
- Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Strong relationship building skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- EMR/EHR experience
