Job Description
The Patient Care Manager (PCM) is responsible for clinical oversight of all direct patient care, working through and with a variety of staff members, demonstrating the philosophy, mission, and service standards of CHOT/Providence. The position involves managing direct patient care, reviewing patient medical diagnosis, assisting in the screening and interviewing process of new employees, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
Requirements
Requires a college degree in nursing
Requires 2+ years of hospice experience and supervisory experience
Experience in a Charge Nurse role will be considered to meet the supervisory requirement
Hospice experience and knowledge of hospice regulations strongly preferred
Proficient skills using a computer are required
Good communication skills and the ability to travel independently
