Role OverviewThe Patient Care Navigator will guide patients in coordination of their care to outside physician practices/facilities by sending out referrals, medical records, and obtaining prior authorizations for MRIs. This role will work in a busy neurology practice serving San Antonio, Kerrville, and Boerne, TX.
What You Will Do
The Patient Care Navigator will perform a variety of patient care activities, including rooming clinic patients, updating patient charts, communicating with providers and nurses, and providing administrative and front-end support.

Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred
- CPR/BLS
- 6 months of clinical experience
- Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
- 1 year in an administrative or customer service role, preferred
- Phlebotomy and lab processing skills, preferred
