Role OverviewThis position performs nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. The patient care tech will provide high-quality patient care in coordination with licensed medical staff.
What You Will Do
The patient care tech will observe and report patient concerns, assist with admission and discharge, record vital signs, and maintain a clean and safe environment. They will also assist with specimen collection and prepare patients for examinations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- Nationally certified patient care technician, completion of WVUM Patient Care Technician program, or current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
