Role OverviewThe Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides designated direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction and supervision of the licensed clinical team members. May collaborate with all clinical departments and designated staff at the patient's site for the purpose of facilitating and assisting with telehealth encounters between patients and providers.

Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners. Performs validated and designated direct and indirect patient care activities to meet patient care needs under direction of licensed clinical team members.

- Knowledge of people with diverse backgrounds and the ability to convey respect and connect effectively
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques, ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
