What You Will Do
Perform basic patient care activities under the direction of a registered nurse, assist patients with activities of daily living, and report changes in patient medical and/or emotional condition.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a Certified PCA/PCT Program, Certified Nurse Assistant Program, Medical Assistant Program, EMT program, or phlebotomy training program
- Six months direct patient care experience (preferred)
- Good analytical and observational problem-solving skills
- Mathematical ability to perform calculations
- Ability to adapt to new technologies
- High level of interpersonal and verbal skill and team work commitment
- Good reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Physical ability to regularly walk and stand, lift soiled linens and move equipment, and assist patients with repositioning and basic activities of daily living
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to perform routine clerical functions
