Role OverviewThe Patient Care Technician performs basic clerical and technical clinical services relating to the care, cleanliness, safety, and comfort for patients. Provides quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to patient care.
What You Will Do
Provides basic nursing care and performs technical skills for specified age groups according to established standards. Assists patients with activities of daily living, documents and reports patient observations to licensed staff, and transports patients, supplies, specimens, equipment, etc.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to attend required orientation classes during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, for the first 2 weeks. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available when external candidate meets applicable guidelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- None
- Certified Nursing Assistant is required if employee is working in a critical access facility
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required
